USFFL Member Teams The USFFL was founded by Tim Langdon and Jerry Sorrell in 1986. The following year, 1987, the first annual North Carolina Flag Football Championships were played in Raleigh, NC. Since then, USFFL teams have dominated flag football in North Carolina with 13 State titles, and 4 National titles.
